Easily accessible not only from downtown Manhattan, but also by Long Island, Sutton Place offers a variety of transportation. Take the (E & M) train and get off at Lexington Avenue 53rd Street, or take the (Q, N, R, M, 4, 5, & 6) trains to Lexington Avenue and 59th Street with entrances on 3rd Avenue.
 
To get across town, take the (M31 & M57) buses that run on 57th Street. To cross the river take the Queensboro bridge, or relax aboard the trolley that suspends over the East River from Roosevelt Island.
